Posting Trust Transfer Requisitions
Trust Transfer Requisitions are posted through the Trust Transfer screen. Once you have accessed this screen, you can then follow the steps outlined below.
- Access the Trust Transfer screen
- Enter the appropriate accounting information in the top section of the form
- Click the [Select Xfer Req] button
- The Trust Transfer Requisition sub-screen will appear
- Query the trust transfer requisitions that you want to post
- Before executing, you can restrict the query results by entering criteria in any of the fields from Req Id through to Requested
- Press [F8] to execute the query
- Select from the query results which requisitions you want to post
- To post a requisition, you must check the Post field
- To cancel a requisition, you must select the Cncl field
- Once all selections are made, close this sub-screen and return to the main screen
- If necessary, you can now change the distributions of the requisitions
- Click [Save] or press [F10] to post the requisitions
To now create the Trust Cheque and post the Trust Receipt, you may follow the steps outlined below.
- Access the Trust Transfer Deposit screen
- Enter or select the Trust Bank that you wish to create the cheque for
- If the cheque is manual, you must enter the cheque number
- If the cheque is an system-generated, the cheque number will be automatically assigned
- To print the cheque at this time, you must check the Print Cheque field; to print the cheque later (i.e.. using the Print Cheque screen), this field can be left not selected
- Enter the Firm Bank for the receipt
- When you tab off of the Firm Bank field, all unposted trust transfers for the bank you have entered will be queried back
- Note: All pre-conversion trust transfer are marked so they will not be available for re-selection here
- Select the trust transfer records that you wish to deposit
- Click [Save] or [F10] to post the information
